Hester's- Corpus Christi Edition

Day 2 in Corpus, the rain was still coming down, so we went to the Science Museum.  After that, we walked across the lot to the Art museum which houses a restaurant called Hester's.  Apparently, it is a popular joint, cause even on a Tuesday, we had to wait in line.  It's an order the food at the counter and then it arrives type of place.  It has a view of the ocean and the Aquarium.  Not the prettiest view due to the greyness and choppy water, but nice to see outside.  It's mostly a sandwich shop with other items like salad and pasta, and desserts.

I ordered the Panini on the Gruene which is a panini with cheese, bacon, tomato, avocado, and mayo.  Andy order the Olivia pasta which included sundried tomatoes, spinach, bacon, artichoke, chicken covered in a garlic alfredo type of sauce.
Andy really liked his pasta, though I thought it tasted typical.  Which isn't a bad thing, but also isn't great, because when you go out to eat, you want something more than typical.
On the other hand, I really liked my panini.  It was warm, had a good flavor, very tasty.  It satisfied my appetite.
