Crooks and Thieves

How is 2018 treating you?  I  would like to say it's been peaches and cream for us.  But it has not.  There have been set backs and disappointments, and I am hoping it's just a rough patch and not the whole year.

Lavender- We got a call on Saturday that our appliances had been stolen.  Basically, the contractor had removed our doors to get them refurbished, put up plywood over the openings, and the local thieves decided that was easy access and stole our fridge, washer and dryer, and dish washer.  It was a huge upset, and kind of threw us off our loop.  It has Andy not wanting to work with our contractor anymore, and I feel like we're kind of in a stand still.  I mean, it's a situation where there isn't much you can do, except to tell the contractor that he needs to hurry up and be done.  We were supposed to be moved in by now and this whole thing is dragging.  We can't move forward in our lives until we can move into that house (if it's even safe in that neighborhood).  I do have a photo of what we have up of our kitchen cabinets.  Check it.

Garden- It has been really cold here.  So we haven't been to the garden in awhile.  Now that a few warm days have snuck in, we are starting to get the land ready to plant for Spring.
